Healing Support
In mid-December 2007 our beloved teacher and friend Yolanda Bain was diagnosed with ovarian cancer after symptoms of abdominal swelling led her to seek medical assistance. Yolanda has been a guiding light in the Yoga Community over the past 20 years and has shared her deep awareness of the Yoga Spirit with thousands of students. She sees this physical challenge as a great teacher in one of the most advanced lessons of her life.
Healing Request:
Several of us have made a commitment to be part of Yolanda’s “healing team” and would like to extend the invitation for you to join, in whatever way you can. Please keep Yolanda and her husband Matt in your thoughts and prayers as they keep her body strong and resilient for surgery on February 4th, and follow-up treatments in the coming months. Yolanda would like you to see her in a positive healing light, through whatever means your heart best opens to, and to please extend that healing light to your families, friends, community, and to Mother Earth.
Support Request:
Yolanda's leave of absence and subsequent loss of income, coupled with her wellness and medical costs are creating financial challenges. There are two ways in which you can help:
1. We welcome your participation in either hosting or collaborating on fundraising ideas (i.e. benefits, auctions, dinner parties, etc). For further information, please contact Yolanda's husband Matt at the

2. Monetary gifts in any amount will
